About Me
John Sherrod is the Team Leader for Keller Williams Realty Coastal Area Partners in beautiful Savannah, GA. For the past eight years, he has had the privilege to lead and consult some of the best real estate professionals in the greater Savannah area. It has been an honor and a challenge that he takes seriously.
John graduated from Armstrong Atlantic State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Special Education and a Minor in Behavioral Intervention in 1997. Shortly after graduation, he became a Special Education teacher in his local school district. While he enjoyed teaching, his entrepreneurial spirit was calling, specifically regarding to the Real Estate profession. As a result, John decided during his summer break from teaching to take the Real Estate Pre-License course. Little did he know that one decision would change the trajectory of life. After passing the state exam, John waited to activate his Real Estate license. Instead, he found his way to Verizon Wireless where he became a National Sales Coach. It was here where he further developed his skillset and after nine years, took the leap of faith that he should have taken many years before.
As an agent, John took pride in consulting and advising his clients as if every transaction were his own investment. The knowledge and skills he developed as an agent led John into the Productivity Coach role where he would turn around a failing Productivity Coaching program and build it to where it was contributing 25% of monthly company dollar to the Market Center. It was not only a win for the Market Center but it was also a win for the agents. Many of those agents are now in the Top 20% in a thriving Market Center and have sat or are currently seated on the Associate Leadership Council. Many of these agents attribute their success to John’s leadership and guidance during their formative years as a Real Estate Professional.
Leading a successful Productivity Coaching Program highlighted John’s gifts and talents. With his years of experience as a school teacher, National Sales Coach, and now thriving Productivity Coaching Program, the natural leadership progression lead him to the Team Leader role. John believes that the agents are our strongest and most valuable Business Partners. Their well-being, success, and future should be our number one priority in ALL decisions.
